Animal husbandry is a popular industry in Australia, where it is believed to employ about 30,000 people.
With a huge number of animals in the country, the industry is a huge source of income for farmers.
But, in a bid to boost its image and lure in more customers, the government is encouraging more than 20 local businesses to raise pigs for slaughter.
Animal husband, cattle, dairy, pig and poultry farmers have been able to get a boost in the past few years as more farmers have access to machinery and equipment, but the new regulations could mean more workers are needed to raise the animals.
How big are Australian pig and chicken farms?
The size of the farms varies depending on the region and what types of animals are used.
The largest of the meat-raising operations in Australia is the United States, which has about 40 million pigs.
However, this number is based on the amount of meat produced per pig.
For example, a commercial pig farm in New York City produces roughly 10,000 pigs per day, while a beef farm in California produces about 15,000 a day.
There are also different national quotas for pig production, which include the Australian quota for Australian pigs.
What do pigs weigh?
In Australia, the average pig is about 25 kilograms (50lbs), with a range of weights from a little under 10 kilograms (24lbs) for a male and up to 15 kilograms (27lbs) in a female.
The average size of a chicken is around 25 kilograms.
How does meat raised for food affect the environment?
The meat industry has a long history of using animals for food and as livestock.
For decades, animal products were used to feed the poor and underprivileged people in the United Kingdom, where some pigs were fed as “pasture feed”.
But in recent years, animal agriculture has become more controversial and animal welfare groups have raised concerns about the use of animals for the production of animal products.
For the first time in the history of Australia, farmers are required to keep their animals under strict conditions, which can include confinement, a cage and no access to water.
However the meat industry says that this is a small step towards protecting animals from the stress of industrial farming.
It said that the regulations also aim to reduce the risk of introducing non-target diseases to Australian pigs and chickens, and that this can only be achieved by increasing the number of workers.
Are there restrictions on how much meat can be produced?
The rules also include a limit on how many animals can be raised per pig, so if the industry can raise enough pigs for a certain number of products, then the farm is allowed to grow more.
The regulations also stipulate that the production must only be done on the farm, with no animals on the land.
However this can change in the future, with the new guidelines coming into force in 2018.
Are the animals treated humanely?
The regulations do not require that any animals be humanely treated, but they do specify that they must not be confined for longer than 12 hours a day, and must be allowed to roam freely, including for a maximum of two hours per day.
Where can I buy meat?

The Australian pork industry has grown over the past decade, but with the government’s regulations, many farmers will have to find a new way of raising pigs.
While it will be easier to raise animals in Australia than elsewhere in the world, there are still challenges in farming the country.
A major reason for the industry’s slow growth is the lack of a good national animal welfare law.
The legislation in place in Australia was introduced in 2001, but this only covers livestock animals, such as horses and cows, and does not cover poultry or pork.
A number of states have introduced laws to deal with these issues, but there is still a long way to go.
Where do I go to buy Australian meat?
There are a number of local meat retailers in Australia.
The Australian Meat Council also offers online services to help farmers buy their products, as well as a range for online shopping.
It is also possible to visit a local meat market to buy local products.
How much meat is raised in Australia?
The industry is expected to grow to about 1.3 million tonnes in 2021 from 1.1 million tonnes last year.
